Current Job Openings

Worker Organizers: UNITE HERE is hiring both entry level and experienced 
organizers for positions throughout the country and in major campaigns 
in CA, Mid-Atlantic region, Southeast region, and Midwest region. 
Organizers are responsible for identifying, recruiting, and training 
workplace leaders in campaigns to win union recognition and union 
contracts. Bilingual skills in Spanish /English a plus for many regions.

Boycott Organizers: UNITE HERE is adding 4 additional boycotters in 
campaigns focused on non-union hotels in major hospitality cities 
throughout North America. Boycott organizers will research targets, 
establish contacts in the community, and organize actions such as: 
leafleting, delegations and boycotts during the course of the campaigns. 
The ability to travel is required, excellent training provided.



Community/Political Organizers: UNITE HERE has openings for these 
organizers to work on national campaigns based in local areas to build 
the worker campaigns in the community and in the legislative arena. 
Responsible for, among other things, building community contacts and 
coalitions to demonstrate support for worker campaign or legislative 
campaign, build political contacts and support for legislative issues 
important to the local members or non-union campaigns. Key areas 
include: Chicago, Hawaii, New York City and New Jersey, however 
flexibility on relocation and travel required.
